Arrangements for finals week - 3/12/2012

 

7.00-8.00pm - Hot Shots (3rd) vs Em Ois (4th)

A reminder to all teams that they need to return their bibs to Claire either on the night or at the break up at Al Frescos on Tuesday, 4 December, 2012.

Season 1, 2012-2013 - Week 10

Our final week before finals saw some great games.  All fields were fielding almost full sides.  BIS Off's held their lead by defeating Hot Shots, 24 - 19 (thanks to a big come back in the final quarter) and Xe Omz confirmed their second place defeating Em Ois 33 - 19.

This week saw an interesting shift in ladder positions with only one week left until finals.  Looking forward to the final rounds week this Monday.

A reminder to all teams to get your team entries in before 14 December, 2013, for the early bird registration fee.

End of Season (Season 1, 2012-2013) Do

End of Season Do at Al Frescos

 

With only a few weeks to go until Season 1 (2012-2013) is over, it's time to book in our end of season do.  Please lock in the following into your calendars:

When: Tuesday, 4 December, 7pm onwards

Where: Al Frescos, 89 Xuan Thuy Thao Dien, District 2

What's included: Beer, margaritas, soft drink and nibbles

(yes, there's a limit to the tab so make sure you're on time)

Who's invited: All players from Season 1

It would be great to see all players and supporters there.  Good luck to our four teams as they approach finals night (3 December, 2012)

Season 1, 2012-2013 - Week 8

Week 8 would have had to have been the hottest so far on court (and the best looking with Movember).  Dispite new balls, they were still slipping through the hands of the most experienced people and everyone looked as though they had jumped into the neighbouring pool at the end of their game.  In true form, there were no complaints and we all just got down to business.

This week we had 1st (Xe Omz) vs 2nd (BIS Offs) and 3rd (Hot Shots) vs 4th (Em Ois), so we were all fired up for a good night of competition and were not disappointed.  Click here to see photos below from the action on court.

Season 1, 2012 - 2013 - Week 7

Great games held all round this week.  Whilst the scores may suggest otherwise, both games provided come backs by teams that had the spectators guessing if the eventual winners would have it.  Welcome to Jess who popped on down and had a great run to start her time off with us.
