Fielding four very full teams, BIS Offs, Hot Shots, Em Ois and Xe Omz hit the courts for our first night back (especially Cat who literally got us off to a 'cracking' start). Great to see so many players either back with us or joining us for the first time.
A few minutes late in starting the first game due to our professional models (Alison, Sam, Ash, Helen L, Sophie and Kathy) posing for some Asia Life photos (check them out in Asia Life's October edition) - good on you guys. BIS Offs and Hot Shots kicked us off to a burling start. Hot Shots stole the game 21 - 16 despite a great effort by BIS Offs.
Our second game with Em Ois agains Xe Omz started off rather formally until Albi broke the ice by mounting Clive in a new distraction defence stratergy (didn't work this time as Clive still sank the shot). After this, there was much more banter on court. 16 - 22 to Xe Omz.
Well done to everyone on a great start to the season, especially our newies who all did themselves proud.
